As well as the attractions in the immediate vicinity, there is a further selection of bars, restaurants and high street stores on Finsbury Pavement while just to the west, the Barbican offers a world class program of cultural events.

CityPoint is served well by underground, rail, bus and London taxi services. Moorgate Station, which provides National Rail as well as Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Northern line tube services, stands 100m south of Ropemaker Street. Liverpool Street Station, located to the south-east, provides extensive Underground services across four lines and also runs National Rail services, including the Stansted Express. London City Airport is a 20-minute journey on the shuttle service from Liverpool Street station, while Heathrow Airport is easily accessible via the express train from Paddington station (20 minutes from Moorgate station).
